WITCHMASTER Back With New Album, Lineup
January 11, 2009After five years of silence, WITCHMASTER is back with a new studio album. The CD, entitled "Trucizna" (which stands for poison) contains "nine tracks of fucked-up, old-school black thrashing rock n' roll madness," according to a press release. The album will be made available worldwide on CD as well as LP by Agonia Records, and in the U.S. by Ibex Moon Records under exclusive licence from Agonia. An April 10 release is expected.
In other news, WITCHMASTER has amicably parted ways with drummer Inferno due to his "growing commitments to his mother band, BEHEMOTH." His replacement is Bastek, who is also a member of SPINAL CORD and has played with HELL-BORN and DEVILYN. Furthermore, Reyash, the original WITCHMASTER bassist, has joined American death metal veterans INCANTATION and Polish legends VADER.
After last year's successful gigs in Poland, Germany and U.K., WITCHMASTER is planning on hitting the road again in 2009.
